Ozean Media | The Playmakers

It was in college where Alex became active in Florida's political arena. He served as the University of Florida's Student Body President and was active in Florida Blue Key. Upon graduation, he became the youngest member of a publicly traded company's executive committee before returning to his home in Gainesville, FL. He is a former Sales Manager of Cox Media, where he led the Cox Media cable advertising sales team for five years before co-founding Ozean Media.

He is active in numerous community organizations and a veteran of political campaigns throughout the State of Florida. He is often quoted as a news source for political and media analysis.  He is a member of the American Association of Political Consultants and the partner in an opinion survey research firm.

After Alex's long hours working at the Office, he enjoys the company of his wife and two children, whose antics keep Alex on his toes.

Lauren graduated from the University of Florida in 2005 with her bachelor's in Advertising. In January 2006, Lauren began interning at Ozean Media while completing her Master's in Management, which she achieved in December 2006. Lauren became a full-time Account Executive with Ozean in January 2007. She loves writing television and radio spots and, of course, making a new sale.

Lauren also loves being involved in the local community. She has recently been the Publicity Co-Chair for American Cancer Society's Cure by Design fashion show and is now working closely with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Tailgate 2008-Kickoff to a Cure as Publicity Co-Chair.

Lauren is a dedicated Gator Fan who loves to travel to away games and has been lucky enough to go to all 3 Championship games during the 2006 and 2007 football and basketball seasons. When at home, Lauren loves to bake cupcakes and cookies are her weakness.

Michael Patton joined the firm in 2010 to assist in managing Ozean Media's growth. After practicing law for a number of years, he has decided that he would rather return to work in the information technology fields. In his pre-lawyer days, Michael worked for several start up firms throughout Florida in the programming side. His experience in web and software development and project management have brought new discipline to Ozean Media.

Michael Patton and his wfie are expecting their first child in 2010, and at this time Michael is attempting to wring every last second out of his free time - knowing that his freetime's days are numbered. He enjoys working on computers, programming, and sheltering rescue dogs.

Patrick graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Fine Arts. Before joining the Ozean team, Patrick was a founding member of Digital Daydreams Studios-a collection of artists dedicated to exploring creative expression on the web. Patrick joined the Ozean team during the summer of 2008.

When not reworking the web, Patrick has served as a Senior Miller in the oldest operating windmill in the United States, located in Nantucket-off the coast of Massachusetts. During his few moments of personal time, Patrick authors his first series of science fiction novels.
